The Scotch-Brite Surface Preparation Pad Plus provides the premium performance you’ve come to depend on from our surface preparation pads — PLUS it’s even easier to use. It doesn’t need a backer pad and it quickly removes the top layers of finish with less clogging during use. With its extra long-lasting scrubbing performance, you’ll replace the pad less often, so you’ll spend even less time getting your floors ready to shine.

Effectively removes floor finish, leaving a clean surface ready for recoating. Prepares wood, vinyl tile, sheet vinyl, marble, terrazzo and concrete floors for finish application.
Cleaning Process:
- Dust mop entire floor prior to scrubbing.
- Install appropriate sized Scotch-Brite Surface Preparation Pad Plus on cleaning equipment. SPP Plus can be used on automatic scrubbers, rotary floor machines, or rectangular (orbital) floor machines without a backer floor pad.
- Wet the floor with water or neutral cleaner and scrub the floor to desired result. Both sides of the pad can be used. When desired, pad can be flipped.
- Pick up dirty solution with a mop, wet vacuum, or automatic scrubber.
- Rinse floor and let dry prior to recoating or opening to traffic. Pads may be rinsed with water to clean if desired.
